Growing up in the 1960's as the youngest girl in a large Asian immigrant family in Zimbabwe was tough. Luckily, Rob didn’t have that experience. He was
born in Denver and grew up as a middle-child in Atlanta
during the fun-loving 1980’s. Moving around a lot during his childhood,
Rob developed a unique blend of humor consisting of hip-hop, suburban,
and redneck, which helped him quickly make new friends. Unfortunately,
he also developed a nervous
beat-boxing tick and an occasional Southern twang, which sometimes
breaks out during his performances, and on
dates, job interviews, during church… and basically every situation
where it is
not appropriate. Luckily, nothing bothers Rob too long as he is
somewhat
hyperactive ADD and usually forgets the situation, even as it is
happening.
